Explore, touch, experience – the Nature Park Centre offers a fantastic journey through areas of unspoiled nature and a sensory garden. It is the Visitor and Environmental Education Centre of the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park (Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land). Visitors can find out about the special features of the Nature Park here and enjoy the delights of an exhibition which appeals to all the senses. Visitors can infiltrate the secret passages of the ants, spend a moonlit night in the forest, talk to native animals over the telephone and witness many other mysteries of nature. The sensory garden next to the building is an inviting place filled with herbs, shrubs and other plants to taste, smell, feel and listen to. The tour around the centre can be extended to include a six-kilometre walk on the forest adventure trail around the Roofensee lake. Guide books and rucksacks are available to hire in the Nature Park Centre.

May to September: Mon-Sun 10-18 hrs.

October to April: Mon-Sun 10-16 hrs.
