High Fläming Nature Park Centre (Naturparkzentrum Hoher Fläming)

The High Fläming Nature Park Centre – the main access point to the Nature Park for visitors – lies at the foot of Burg Rabenstein castle. The Centre is open daily from 9:00 to 17:00 hrs.

Do you want to explore High Fläming Nature Park on foot, by bicycle, on horseback on in a wheelchair? Everyone is welcome! The Nature Park Centre in Raben is a possible starting point for your tour. The tourist information staff can advise you on which route to take and tell you where to find the nicest spots of the Fläming heath. The needs of ramblers in particular will be met in the "smallest uplands in Germany". Starting from the Centre, there is a choice of three special hiking trails – including the Burgenwanderweg which is a designated "Wanderverband" rambling association path – for walks lasting one day or several days.

Enjoy the Nature Park – in all weathers!

You can find out all about the High Fläming in the dry in the exhibition on the upper floor. The exhibition is far from dry, however, because it is full of surprises. You are given a torch on your way in so that you can visit the nocturnal animals and elsewhere you will also literally have a hands-on experience as you discover the High Fläming world.

Take a bit of the Nature Park home ...

In the Fläming shop (character vault in the summer house) you can buy products typical of Fläming, such as candles, pottery, handmade teddy bears, fruit brandy and organic food – either as a souvenir of your visit to Fläming or as a special gift.

No barriers to access at the Nature Park!

There are bicycles of different sizes, some of them with a child seat, and a tandem available to hire for a cycle ride. A mobility scooter and a special-needs tandem are also available for hire. The Nature Park Centre itself is also largely accessible to wheelchairs.

Investigate the mysteries of nature

The bee rally through the sensory garden at the Nature Park Centre is one of the many environmental education activities on offer at the High Fläming Nature Park. There is a wide range of events all year round, both outdoors and in the Nature Park Centre. We welcome your suggestions and ideas so that we can include them in the programme of events.
