Burg Storkow (March) Visitor Centre (Besucherzentrum Burg Storkow (Mark))

Burg Storkow castle was reopened in the spring of 2009 and has since become a new social gathering place for local people and visitors to the region. The Visitor Centre of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park (Naturpark Dahme-Heideseen) provides information about nature and the environment and facilities for creative exploration of nature. An exciting journey through time for young and old.

Opening times:

April to October: Mon-Sun 10-17 hrs.

November to March: Mon-Sun 11-16 hrs. (last admission to

exhibitions one hour before closing)

Wheelchair access, dogs allowed

Entrance prices:

Adults € 4.50, children up to age 6 free

Schoolchildren up to age 16 € 2.00; various reductions

    Castle Storkow

    Join experienced guides to learn all about the 800-year-old walls and their unique history and the period of reconstruction work.
    Visitors can look around the Old and New Castle with its new exhibitions, the old tower, the half-timbered house and the castle courtyard with its thick walls and a modern open-air stage.

    The friendly, expert staff of the tourist information centre can be found in the former fireside room of the rebuilt castle manor.

    A guided tour costs 6,00 € per person and takes 60 minutes.
